A trip to India is worth if you, like me, love jewelry. I just can not stop looking at my new entries: this amazing wedding set and many other things that came along with me all the way from Calicut, India .Pics will be posted.
Next time I'll get myself a sari, I've seen lots of beautiful ones but we got so tired as we went shopping straight away after the flight...

Home is anywhere you feel good and where you have the things you love. I just came back from one flight to Barcelona and as you can see I brought lots of staff. Clothes, shoes, books and many other things that make me feel at home because this is now my home, Doha.

BIG NEWS!!! I live in Doha, Qatar, now! I work as a cabin crew and everything is just great. Now I really do live in the clouds! So many things to show, to tell... I could not be happier. I visit diferent places week and I get to meet new people all the time. Its just perfect for me.

Doha is everything you can imagine; hot (VERY hot), dusty, small and big, with people from everywhere in the world and lots of skyscrapers. Luxe and poverty together... Its a place to experience, and this is, for me, a life experience that will always be with me, forever.

In April I went to Hafjell, Norway, to sky a couple of days. Well, it wasn´t properly sky from my side as I´m super bad at it, and because of that I gained myself the nickname of "kamikaze", you can guess why by yourselves....

I think I looked great though I´m totally incapable of skying. Don´t you agree with me??

I did some hair styling model jobs...so lots of times I ended up with the weirdest hair-do´s....

April was a hard month for me due to many different reasons but I don´t know how, most of the times I can even enjoy the worst times of my life.

I also worked as a bartender in many different concerts on Oslo so I had the chance to see great artists as HCDC, Tina Turner, and so on and get payed at the same time. I met lots of wonderful people and I had a boss who spoke to me in Danish and we barely understod each other...hahahahaha!

In March my great friend Francesca came to visit me with her bf from Ireland. We had one of the craziest night of the year and I was, of course, extremely happy to see her again after 3 years!

In addition to this, I got to see other friends from everywhere that I didn´t see in years. Yes, this is life, time runs too fast and years just pass by...and you don´t even realize it.

I went to Karlstad, Sweden, for a weekend to celebrate my boyfriend´s birthday, and it was all in white. I ate delicious "sämlur", typical Swedish cakes that drive me crazy....You must try them if you ever got to Sweden in Febrary!

In Febrary I had several crazy nights with my beautiful friend Hanna, discovering new discos in Oslo and having the best pre-parties you could imagine.

I also had relaxed stylish dinners with friends . Always freezing, that night it was -12....gosh, and I´m still alive???

I went to my hometown, Barcelona, 1o days, had university exams, spend some time with my family,parties with friends and took some beautiful pics on the beach.

I started the year in Oslo, freezinf but with my loved friends. We had a crazy party that leaded to belly danzy with half naked dancers, one new mobile (found in the street), cava and lots of music til the end of the night.

A few days ago I went to the cinema to see”Angels & Demons” based on the best-seller by Dan Brown. If you haven’t seen it yet, you must do it! I read the book like 4 years ago and I didn’t like as it’s a copy of the “Da Vinci Code”, different city and different story but almost the same argument: Dr. Langdon and a young lady running out of time to save the Vatican….
I have to admit that the movie is really good, it has great especial effects (that’s why it’s better to see it at the cinema) and it really takes you.
Go and see it! It’s totally worth it!

I’m getting crazy with all the things that have to be done....studying, preparing my Norwegian exam in Oslo, my university exams in Barcelona, trips, interviews, working, and getting everything ready.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
There’s no time at all for glamour or fashion those days, especially when I’m riding my bike like a kamikaze….
I’m stressed as hell right now but I know that I’ll hate to have a normal routine when that day comes....and I wonder: is it possible to find the right balance in our lifes?

Sorry for the bad updating….I was just lost in this world dealing with the school, the university and job interviews….
This week I’m testing this facial milk from Carita. It’s pricey but it works. It has a weird color, kind of green and its texture it’s semi-liquid. The good thing is that it doesn’t dry your skin out. But if you don’t use the tonic afterwards you can have that not-clean feeling on your face.
Good: the hidratation you get.
Bad: the high price.

Yesterday I went to the hairdresser to some more modeling but you’ll see the pictures tomorrow. It was pretty much the same hairdo from the last week as we are just trying. Next week it’s the final day and she’ll make me the makeup and the hairdo with some decorations and I’ll even be wearing a veil as it’s a photoshot for a wedding catalogue.

How are you people? Here in Oslo the sun is shining and it’s the very first day that’s actually warm (read +14).
I haven’t done that much in those days, eating and sleeping extra: RELAX. On Thursday we went for a sushi dinner at a friend’s place, delicious!
I won’t be posting that often these days as I want to do other things at home such as to relocate the furniture, clean, read and don’t get stressed out for anything in this world.

Today I’ve been modeling for a hairdresser. The saloon is one of the best in Norway, so I’m quite glad that I did it. The girl who did my hairstyle made me a huge and magnificent chignon with lots of volume in the frontal part and curls in the back. Beautiful! It’s just a pity that I’m not going anywhere as I’ll be close at home finishing a paper for the university that has to be done before Thursday…
Well, I’ll indulge myself taking me some pictures and looking myself in the mirror….

Yes! A friend who’s crazy about make-up (Luci) and gets rid of the things she doesn’t use anymore. What can I say? Just YES! She’s got every single kind of thing you may need or imagine…. You want curly hair? Use this. You want to moisturize your elbows? Use that. Amazing!
In addition to this, I have a marvelous BF who buys me unexpected small gifts just because…because every day is St. Valentine. This time I got a pair of wood earrings with gold decorations, perfect for the summer!
And today is just studying and studying with no end…I wish I was better planning and respecting my deadlines with school…but I’m not so I have to make a sprint during the weekend. Are you too like me?

After school I went for a short vintage tour so I went to El Rastro, a small secondhand shop that has many delicate treasures. It was my lucky day as I went there to look for a nightdress but there weren’t any but they had sales! How great! They had fabulous bags and fantastic furniture. I ended up buying a black bolero in velvet from Paris for 10$. I have to make some arrangements such as make the sleeves shorter, change the buttons and add a few other things that I already have in my mind. In the last weeks I’ve been eyeing the Balmain’s jackets so I think this is going to be inspired on one of the models that I saw on the catwalk.

Hi there! It’s been a crazy day today! In the morning I did a TV-segment for a very cool fashion blogger, you’ll see it soon. I tried on myself many nice outfits; a few of them were fabulous. I think I’m going to buy one of the dresses I had on, an orange one…
After that it was school and then, in the evening, a walk in the mountain with a friend. And now I have to make some homework for tomorrow….I’m kind of dead….
The photoshot with FrkTetlie yesterday was more than great. We did some nice portraits (unlyckly I don’t have any now) and on Friday we’re going to make a big session. We discussed the outfits and the locations. The two of us together can make wonders.
In addition to this I got a goodiesbag, as thanks for the job in the morning, so I’m more than delighted!

Saturday night was great! It was me and Luci, the queen of make-up. I actually had a compliment on my make-up (which, of course, was her job) and that never happened before in my life…I wore another outfit, more 80’s inspired and more warm...I’m saving the striped one for another occasion.
When choosing what I had to have on me I realized that I always buy random things and at the end it comes that I don’t have any basic garments such a plain black top…… I really should fix this. My closet looks like the rainbow, I have every single color but nothing makes sense….. I wonder why I didn’t discover that before…..I’ll write a post about it, I’m sure it will be helpful.
Today I’m meeting FrkTetlie (from www.frktetlie.blogspot.com/ )for a photoshot. We are going to set up a planning as due to the amount of pictures and great ideas we have, we realized that we need more than one evening…so today it’s going to be a few portraits, beers and brain-storming for both.
By the way, tomorrow I’m doing something VERY cool. Can’t tell you more now….you’ll have to wait! But it’s related with clothes, spring/summer trends and a very fashion person!

Everyone is gone and routine is back. I’m sad but at the same time full of energy and love. Friends are the best in this world. Now I have to catch up with my studies so those days are all about reading and writing. Yesterday I went for a small shopping tour and I found great deals.

The first item is this fabulous striped dress. It has the perfect shape for me that I have the typical Spanish guitar shape, read, tiny waist and wide hips. This wasn’t a bargain (around 46 $) but I couldn’t resist. I already see it with a pair of black high heels and a white flower in my hair….delicious!

This is my new love. A soldier/stewardess hat! It was a steal (less than 2$!) found at HM outlet that I just discovered in Oslo. This hat calls for a photoshot…

These gloves, in real suede, are another bargain for less than 3 $. I love the color, but most of all, I love their length. I can wear them up for a sexy look or rolled down for a more casual and chic look. Amazing!
I’m very glad of what I found! Even thought I shouldn’t be doing shopping considering my account…Ah! I can’t be perfect!

Sorry for the bad update but it’s chaos here at my place. It’s like we’re participating at Big Brother-International version as we are: one Swedish, three Spaniards, one Irish, two Italians and one Brazilian! Thanks God I live in a huge apartment...
A very good friend (Francesca) from Italy has come along with her Irish boyfriend. We meet in Barcelona and it was because of her that I got to know my boyfriend as they were sharing apartment there. Later, we lived together in Milano for a while and I even worked for her advertising agency as stewardess/model lots of times. Those were good times! It was almost three years I didn’t see her….it’s amazing how time flies…Besides, another friend from Milano who lives now in London with her Brazilian boyfriend came to Oslo for the weekend….and, in addition to this, Txema’s sister was here , too. You see, life is full of sweet and delightful encounters….
The weekend has been party+party+party. Some pics will come. I’m so happy that I can’t explain it!

I’m not that kind of fashionista that follows trends seen on celebrities. Absolutely not; I don’t even make any difference between the Olsen’s sisters….But this time is different. I saw this picture on Internet and I felt in love with the whole image. I’m not a fan of Victoria but I’m impressed with how good she looks. I want her arms (I’m on my way as I’m training four times per week), the dress, and the bag but most of all, I want her shoes. I think I can work this outfit with all the things I have spreaded in my closet…give me some time….

Back to Basics...HM

As I’m not working that much lately and there’s crisis in my pocket as there’s in the whole world I try to keep my expenses easy, in other words, cheap. So these are the products I’m using from HM. I’ve to admit that I’m truly impressed with the results. They work very well on my skin. I’m deeply convinced that I own an extraordinary good skin as I never had black spots, other unwanted imperfections or acne and I still don’t have a single wrinkle. I think I took that from my mum, who’s now almost 60 and everyone thinks she’s 46, unbelievable!
HM cosmetics are ok. Pencils and brushes are better. The only thing that doesn’t convince me is the concealer…sadly, I got used to the YSL one that makes miracles…well, I suppose l’ve to wait until the next paycheck!

Today I’m off skiing in the Norwegian mountains. The landscape in Hafjell it’s simply amazing; there’s no noise at all and everything is white, full of snow. Sometimes we really need to take a break and run away from the city and this is one of the best places in Norway.
It’s freezing here and there’s absolutely no place for glamour…and when staying indoors it’s all about being warm and comfy while sipping tea or red wine next to the fire…oh! It’s so cozy!!!

No, it’s not the cocktail. It’s my outfit. I just wanted to try on my new skirt and play around a little bit. I’m totally in love with my hat (ok, it’s not mine but still….) and finally I found the skirt I was looking for. A skirt with ruffles but elegant, not a flamenco one! I already know 5 ways to wear it; I’m just waiting for the right moment.
For those of you that, like me, have very long legs and want to take advantage of them, try this combination: miniskirt with high heels and a simple jacket or an easy blazer on the top. You can be sure all the eyes will be on you. And don't be afraid of being too tall; with these shoes I'm more than 1,85!

Here you can see my new vintage treasures stolen from my mum. They belonged to my grandmother so it’s more than jewelry, it’s a memory.

I’ve been cleaning up the apartment and suddenly I’ve found these in a bag...I had totally forgotten about them as it’s been a couple of months since I wore such high heels here in Oslo (read: lots of snow/killing ice). I’ve worn them twice, it’s a shame but they are kind of a challenge: 12,5 cm.
I bought them in Barcelona last winter for less than 60€, if this isn’t a steal, then you tell me what it is... Every time I go home I indulge myself with a pair of shoes, and since I moved away six years ago and considering that I go home at least 3 times per year the amount it’s quite big. In fact, it’s been a while since I started hiding shoes from my boyfriend inside suitcases….

It sounds sick, but you avoid lots of arguments because of place, money spent,etc…

Yesterday I worked at AC DC’s concert here in Oslo. There was lots of work but I was able to see the concert afterwards. They are great. I have to say that they are quite old but still have an incredible energy!
Today I’m having a day off as the school is closed so it’s all about doing undone things and going to the doctor.

Yes!!!! I’m back after SO MANY things!!! In this month I’ve been in Sweden, Barcelona and Copenhaguen…
My trip home was great as always. Exams could be better but I can’t complain. Shopping could be better also but as I’m totally poor due to my lack of job (euphemism for unemployed…) but I made some great deals and dig into my old closet which still surprises me every now and then. I went to parties, meet family and friends and ate lots of delicious things that I really miss when I don’t live in Spain.
I stole lots of jewelry to my mum from that belonged to her when she was young and to my grandmother. Fabulous!!! You’ll see it in the next days.
Every single time that I go home I wonder why I left and even if I got an important reason (LOVE) I can’t help myself daydreaming on living there again. I know I know, Barcelona will always be there for me, my home, my place, but still….I’m in love with my city, and not just because it’s the place where I come from. No. It’s because Barcelona has it ALL. Perfect weather, nice people, tourists the whole year, strange people, thieves in the underground, models, fashion victims, students (millions), foreign people, weird people, mothers and children, grandmothers waiting, hooligans, the Barca football team, an infinite number of bars, thousands of discos, pubs, restaurants of every kind, those where you spend money while you’re looking at the menu and others where you get a jug of sangria for 2 euro, shops, millions of shops, theaters, squares that are used as public theaters, avenues, big streets and small streets to get lost in the middle of the night hand by hand with someone you just meet, hidden bars on apartments, houses that have become bars offering beers for nothing, cheap cigarettes, etc…

What and exciting day yesterday!! It was the first day at school after X-mas holidays. Besides, I got two presents: a super cute bracelet from my boyfriend who always surprises me with small unexpected gifts and a friend’s present from Barcelona with sexy red underwear, a cd with some pics we made in Thailand and a handwritten letter. Needless to say, the best was the letter…..

I already start packing my luggage as I hate to make it at the last minute, which I always do…..

Indeed, it’s true....I’ve read an economical article and it was quite interesting. It was called “The ways people think about money”. The best part was the one with the statements that rule our mind when it comes to think about money:

1- If I want something, I buy it (not me, unfortunately…)

2- I never seem to have any spare money but I don’t know why (totally me!)

3- There are more important things to worry about than money (true)

4- I always check my bank statements (I wish I did)

5- You have to plan for the things you really want (I agree, but it’s difficult when you see a pair of new shoes you “need”)

6- I budget every cent I spend (I do it in rare occasions…)

After reading I stopped to think for a while and I made an approximate budget for this new year that has recently begun but I can see that it’s going to be tuff. I want to make lots of things and at the moment there’s no money at all….mmm….I’ll have to sort it out somehow….

Any advice/ideas to increase my budget???

In November I made a TV-segment for the blogger Silje’s Fashion and I got a goodies bag with lots of different things. Right now I’m testing Oriflame’s Radiance Energy Cream. Well, it smells really good, like peaches but it’s too sticky. I’ve got normal to dry skin but still, my skin doesn’t absorb it all…I don’t think I like it that much….I prefer fresh creams, especially those in gel consistence.

Shopping list

Every time I’m going home to my family I prepare a list with all the things I want to buy or need as Spain is much cheaper than Norway (I’m pretty sure anywhere else is cheaper than Norway….). And while doing that I realized that there will be the winter sales there! How lucky!
I spent one day at the Swedish sales after Christmas, Oslo is “burning” with its winter sales and when I’ll be in Barcelona I’ll find sales there, too!!!!!I can’t believe it!!! I just have to fix a budget which, of course, I won’t follow….I mean, rules and limits are made to skip them off sometimes, right???
One thing that I really need is mascara, and when I say mascara I mean 2 or 3 at least.
Normally I use one for my everyday which is very light and discreet as my eyelashes are very long and dark and I don’t want a heavy look to go to school or work. Then, there’s the second one that I use when I dress up to get all the attention to the eyes.
I’ve tried EVERY mascara you could possible buy and the best, for me, are the ones from l’Oréal. Neither Dior Show nor Lancome. Lately I’ve become a huge fan of Doble Extension Tubes. It looks like you’re wearing fake eyelashes.

Do you have any recommendations in terms of mascaras? I’m always willing to try new ones!

The First Day of the Year!!!

What happens when you put together 3 Swedish, 2 Spanish and 1 Lithuanian??? No, this is not a joke, this was my dinner-team yesterday to say goodbye to the 2008.
We spent New Year’s Eve at home. We made a fancy dinner and at the end it began a crazy party with oriental performances, belly dancers and a little bit of flamenco. No bad I must say…..
I wore my new pink dress with lots of ruffles and a beautiful back with lots of necklaces to give it a dramatic look. I just put on my new blue shoes to take the picture……in fact, went we went out to see the fireworks I had on my boots and my fake fur as it was freezing outside.

One year is almost gone and a new one is about to start...don’t know why but ends and beginnings always make me think what has been improved in my life and what’s gone, and the bad things that happened....
This year hasn’t been one of the best for me but I can recall a few very good things that in a way or another balance the final result.
This year I have had one of the best holidays with my best friend, I’ve almost learnt my fifth language and I’ve meet a very dear friend among other small things that fulfill my everyday life. I’ve learnt that a lot of things and persons come and go but the ones who stay, stay forever. I’ve learnt that we all have an immense power inside ourselves that can be taken outside when required.
And, most of all, now I know what I want and what I don’t. A good friend of mine told me: once you know what you want then you have half way done.
For the next year I’ve decided to make my dreams come true forgetting my fears and trusting in me more than anyone else does. Wait and see.

I apologize for being disappeared but I didn’t have time at all. After being sick I started working again and I had no time AT ALL. I’ve spent my Christmas in Sweden at my boyfriend’s parents place. As they live in a very small town there were no many places where to go but the landscape there is simply unbelievable. My Christmas have been all about relax, family and, of course, food. Lots of food.
I got really nice surprises while enjoying the most beautiful Swedish Christmas traditions like the visit of Santa at home to bring all the presents!
Today I’m back at home. My home. And it’s one of the best things I know. It’s ok to visit the family but isn’t it great to be in your comfy clothes with a cup of your favorite tea lying in your sofa studying? Yes, studying because the countdown for me has started: my exams are in just two weeks from now. So today is English literature to start. But not everything is black…exams mean going home (sun, family, friends and vacation!)

Nobel Peace Prize Concert

As you may know all the Nobel prizes are given in Stockholm except the Peace one which takes place in Oslo.
Yesterday evening I was at the Nobel Peace Prize concert. It was beautiful. The scene was full of people and good vibrations. I got to see Scarlett Johansson and Michael Cain and many others.
Diana Ross was the best. She was wearing a dress that could be called “paillets’rain” and she’s got this long and curly black hair that is breathtaking. I especially enjoyed the performance of Julieta Venegas. She was cool as always. The Swedish singer Robin had a hairlook that I wish I had if my hair was short as hers. And finally, Scarlett deceived me…. Don’t know why…she was simple and fine but maybe I was expecting something else, a “plus”…. Anyway, she did it wonderful along the whole night.
I forgot my camera at home so I couldn’t take any pictures…sorry!

Yesterday I got a goodies bag from the shop where I’m working these days. A set to make two different types of tea. Mmmm….
Plus that I bought a few delicatessens to enjoy while reading a good book (or in my case, studying).My boyfriend got a small present as well: two candle holders.

Doesn’t it happen to you that when you know that you won’t like the answer you don’t dare to ask???? Well, that’s what is happening to me with my account: I don’t dare to look at it ‘cause I already know it’s almost dry….so yesterday I finally did it and after getting depressed I decided to buy something to cheer me up! I know, I know, bad solution but still…it worked for a while.
I ended up buying a black skirt I saw a few days ago at HM and now I’m more than glad I did.

Hotel Continental

This month and until Christmas I’m working as extra waitress in different places like hotels and Christmas dinners to make a little extra money to spend next month when I’ll be going home (my beloved and SO missed Barcelona). Yesterday I worked at the Continental Hotel, which is one of the best here in Oslo. No need to mention that I was stunned to see how beautiful was every single thing inside (well, not the kitchen!). The dishes, the cutlery and almost every item were made of silver. The decoration of the room was exquisite and charming.

The food was delicious…have a look at the menu….
After working I got these beautiful flowers which I gave to my boyfriend as a small surprise! :)

Christmas Outfit II - Elton John Concert

Yesterday I went to the Elton John’s concert in Oslo. Needless to say it was great! He’s such a piano genius. And the piano itself is a wonder, it is red and shinny. The spectacle was amazing, with different performances, lots of actors and musicians with an incredible atrezzo.
For that occasion I chose to wear my delicious beige dress in silk that I bought in Singapore. I have to say that I was freezing…but yes….we all know: little pain is required if you want to look beautiful.
I think this dress is that kind of a piece that you can wear with no problems for one night out with friends or for a formal occasion. Well, it’s a little bit too short for me but that’s because I’m very tall.

We are now in this time of the year that implies parties, dinners and meetings without end... And unless your pocket is like the Paris Hilton one, you have to re-invent new outfits from your old clothes. In my opinion this is really good. You’ve got the chance to dig in your closet and rescue those wonderful pieces that ended up at the bottom of it and give them a new allure! I’m not saying that to use new accessories (which is always the safest resource) is a bad option but trends come and go, so why don’t you give to that eighties’ inspiration dress a new glamour by adding a top under or two different length tights or wearing it with a pair of killing heels boots? Or even better a pair of leather elbow-length gloves in a total different color?
Right now it’s all about imagination and fantasy. Do not allow the crisis knock at your door! Hands up!

Walking on the clouds

Yesterday I had so much pain in my feet that I had to buy these in an emergency!
In the last days I feel like none of my shoes or boots work well on my feet …but after trying these, what can I say….it just feels likes walking on the clouds! They are incredibly soft and warm…..I can’t believe I have lived without them until now. I’ve never been a fan of UGGS and I always thought that they are way too much expensive….but now I understand why girls buy it year after year….no wonder why!!!
Mine, of course, are not a pair of original UGGS, but they look good enough to me and I just paid 200 NOK which is kind of a bargain here in Oslo.
NO MORE WINTERS WHITOUT THEM.

It’s been a long while since I last blogged.... This shouldn’t happen again….

Lots of things have happened to me in the last weeks…I can start saying that now I’ve got a temporally job which it’s ok. It’s just until Christmas but it’s perfect for now.

On Tuesday I meet the Norwegian fashion blogger Silje from http://www.siljesfashion.com/ to make a TV segment. It was me and the sweet Marthe from http://www.frktetlie.blogspot.com/ as models trying on party clothes for the next X-mas. It was really fun and we got the chance to try on wonderful dresses…I loved especially one which was made just for me: a LBD in light wool and short with a wonderful low back…simply gorgeous!

Pictures will come as soon as I get them. As a thank you we got a goodis bag with lots of staff from Oriflame. Just in time because I was running out of a few face care products!
After the shooting we all three went for a coffee. I enjoyed very much talking with them two. Marthe was very sweet and Silje knows tons of interesting things, like shops, fashion agencies and so on! She gave me some info that I needed. A big THANK YOU to her!

After the coffee Marthe and I went to H&M just to have a look and without realizing it I found myself with a fake fur jacket! Marthe tried on first and just then, when I saw it on her, I felt in love. And it was 50% off, so what else would I ask???? I grabbed it and now it’s hanging in my closet waiting for the next right evening.

Today I feel blue. Like The Smurfs! This is why my tights are blue and so I am.
It seems to be hard to forget what you really like but it is not. It can easily happen that you forget where you get pleasure from, what makes you smile and which songs blow your mind away….and this is exactly what happened to me while I’ve been thinking way too much and being concerned about what to do and no to do…
Don’t know when, don’t know how but I have totally forget what makes me smile while I walk down the streets. And suddenly I heard a song that a few years ago was my BSO….It’s an old one from Robbie Williams. And yes, I know it may be considered very commercial but that’s the way it is. And in a few minutes I got to remember all the good moments I have had while I was living in Italy. Italy sounds really far away in the time now…but it will last in my heart for ever.
At the same time came to me memories of when I was younger (I know I’m not old now but I mean when I was just 21!) and I was full of dreams and energy….and I wonder to myself: where has all gone?
I’m going to work to get everything back to me: MYSELF.
Now it’s time to study some Norwegian….

I’ve been thinking about things that make your life easier.... such agendas, organizers, post-its and so on…. But everyone has its own easy-life-makers…
I cannot live without my small agenda that my mum buys especially for me every single year. And then I’ve created my own to fulfill my special needs as for example my earrings-hanger. I assure you that it is the best thing I’ve ever made. It simplifies so much the choice of what earrings you want to wear in the morning… I'm sure all of you know the mess of having all the jewelry together with no sense...knots and disperation when u just want to pick one necklace.

I got the idea from a girl that I meet and she was living in a very small bedroom so she had to came out with all of these ideas to create space where there wasn’t.
Any ideas to share???

Back home!! Yes, Thailand was great. And so were Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and all the other places we visited. I’m super happy; I came totally relaxed and full of energy to face the winter and all the things that are coming.
The week-end was all about studies and sleeping to avoid the jetlag. Don’t know how many hours I’ve slept…My paper works for my Uni are REALLY LATE…I’m freaking out with all the deadlines…
When I got home my beloved BF had bought me present: a marvelous fuchsia mini skirt in sateen from Gina Tricot. The funniest thing was that I already had that skirt! I wish I could stop myself telling him the truth but I couldn’t! Hehehehe… Luckily he took it on the funny side and we both had a good and long laugh. What matters is that he tough about me and about surprising me and that means that I’ll change it and get something else. He’s too sweet!

RED HAIR

I could start saying that I’m being chased by someone…..and so is Txema by someone else …but no! I’ll just say that finally some salt and pepper has been added to our lives….
Most of the times changes come along with a new hair cut. In my case it’s a new color. Rojo.
Red like fire, like the Spanish tomatoes, like blood, like my cell phone, like many good things.
Today I’m totally sick at home. I hate to be sick because of the flue. How bad is it!
I went to the library to pick up a few books for my trip to Asia and I also got my most expensive book in the post box: a literature one. It was only 8 € but at the end I paid 200 NOK, so it is the crown of my book-collection. I’ve never paid that much to get a book.
My search for a new job has started. No news, yet. I need a job, and most of all, I NEED MONEY!!!!
In the meanwhile, I’m just going to enjoy my relaxed days reading books for the university, walking along the streets of Oslo trying to catch the last ray of sun before the winter comes. I can’t think about anything else than my trip. The winter scares me a lot... Until then…other birds fly on my mind.

I’ve been out of order the last days but that’s because many things happened: I’ve started my Norwegian classes, I quit my job (I couldn’t be happier), I’ve been to Madrid three days, I’ve been invited to a wedding at the Mauritius Islands (a very very good friend who lives in Milano is getting married there), Bea and I decided that we are going to Ibiza next summer and I’m making new plans for my life.
Besides my dear friend Txema seems to have found a new flame…in Madrid! This is getting interesting….more news are about to come…but at the right moment!
The final countdown to Thailand has started: one month! I got my vaccines just today. Really expensive I have to say…. But at least this is fixed. Now we are starting to plan the itinerary. Any recommendations are more than welcome.
About my ex-job: I’m deeply happy that I don’t have it any longer….it couldn’t be worst in all senses….I’ll start looking for a new but a proper one, I’m so out for crappy jobs. I’ve had enough. I’m aware that this might change my plans, but I have to fix a few things in my life and the job is one of the first ones in my list. So be it…. No more sh** for little money!
A very good friend of mine has recently moved to Dubai, I’m happy for her but I can’t help myself being jealous! Nadine, I WISH YOU THE BEST. Even if I’m totally sure she’s going to do it great down there.

Now that I don’t have to work I’ve got more time for me and I’m doing all of those things that are in my To-Do list, which it seems to have no end…but yes, one thing at the time. No streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess!!!

Oslo seems to be at its end for me but nothing is decided yet….in the meanwhile some shoots from my wonderful days in Madrid. And last but no least, a BIG THANKS to Elena, my dear friend who took me out to enjoy the crazy in Madrid city....

Today’s been a good day: a little shopping, happiness, laughs, rain, sweetness and training.
It was pouring down this morning and my colleague Elinor and I got all the rain while going to ask for more hours at work, it was really fun tough!
I took a long walk around the city under the rain and I don’t know why but when I most like Oslo is when it’s raining….maybe because it brings me records of when I first moved to this city and it was raining the whole summer….
And then some shopping in Bogstadveien, it was mainly things for home but I can never stop myself and I always end up in HM and getting a small thing for me which in this occasion was a lip gloss (it was on sale so I don’t feel bad at all).
Back home I made cappuccino-muffins: quick, cheap and delicious!
And to make my day I went to the gym after 2 months…gosh! I thought I was dying!!! I’ll never again stop going training….if you start and you stop when you re-start it’s terrible. No way. And now that I think about it…I should go to the swimming pool, as well….ok, I’ll fix this another day…it takes me so much energy…..

Here you can see the result: fresh home baked bread, simply delicious. I’d write down the receipt if I just knew it…. I like cooking but this doesn’t mean I’m that good at it….I ate it with “gudbrandalsost” which is a kind of cheese that drives me crazy!
It’s been a hard day today…many thoughts have run in my mind…I clearly see that many things have to change in my life and not just my job.
I haven’t done anything interesting and I don’t feel bad at all. I’m very self-indulgent when it comes to waste my time. Ah…tomorrow will be another day with other clouds and other surprises….hopefully! I just need to do a few useful things and I’ll feel definitely better.
Indeed, in the morning I’m going to ask for more hours to work. Crazy, I know but I need the money: Thailand is waiting for me! Ohhhhhhhh yes! Beaches, sunbathing without end and kilos of jewelry!!! I couldn’t ask for more. No no.

No Good....

Sunday morning, no sun, just rain, cold and grey clouds...at least I don’t have to go to work today.
It feels like a winter day…just want to lie down on the coach and watch TV or a good movie. I’m feeling a little bit depressed today, and I know it’s because I had a bad day yesterday and today there’s nothing interesting to do. I mean, of course I’ve got lots of things to do (read thousand books for the next semester, sew buttons on a skirt, prepare my school papers, go to the gym, write mails to my friends or call my mother) but none is really attractive right now….
There’s something that always cheers me up: my TO DO list! I love it because it stresses me out but in another way it makes me feel very good to see black on white all the things I’ve got to do. And not to mention the satisfaction I get when striking one item from the list.
And I think I miss my friend Txema, still in Madrid on vacation. Ah! Madrid…I’m going there on Wednesday for a very short kit-kat. I think I really need it….and I’m looking very forward to meet my dear friend Elena. Feel the hot, sweat, drink “tinto de verano” and lots of real tapas sitting and chatting in a terrace.
I’m planning to visit El Prado Museum and to do some shopping although I’m totally broke. And guess why am I broke??? Because I didn’t got my salary yet! It’s like I’m working for beneficence.
I REALLY NEED TO CHANGE MY JOB. NO WAY.

I should go now; my BF is trying to bake some kind of bread….

Brand New Start

It is always complicated to start something when you’re not sure about it …but here I’m.
The first post goes to my very good friend Txema, the one who was sure about my blog since I told him my idea. He will probably be the blog’s official photographer. In fact, he already is (he took my profile’s shot).
By the way, today he’s in Madrid having an interesting breakfast without diamonds (but I’m still not allowed to say anything about it….). I’ll keep you all posted.
Just the clouds “shine” today in the Oslo’s sky….and nothing exciting appears to be in my sky, just working and perhaps a breakfast with my Swedish colleague Elinor.
